A very rare issue of Trebonianus Gallus from Maronaea

THRACE. Maronaea. Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253. Tetrassarion (?) (Bronze, 28 mm, 12.28 g, 11 h). ΑΥΤ ΒΙΒ ΓΑΛΛΟϹ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus to right. Rev. Μ-Α/ΡΩΝЄΙΤ/ИΩ Hexastyle temple with broken pediments; within, Dionysos (?) standing facing, holding patera in his right hand and thyrsos in his left. RPC IX 156. Very rare. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
